BMWCCA at COTA again! Jun 10-12
Not sure if it's been advertised that well so far but BMWCCA is back at COTA. Not a joint event with PCA...but it's a BMWCCA event. It's been awhile since BMWCCA has held an event at COTA so hopefully we get some out-of-town folk.
It's not the most fun track ever but its damned cool to drive on the same pavement as F1, Indycar, NASCAR and MotoGP. It is an outstanding facility. If you bring family, there's good shopping not too far away in San Marcos. http://msreg.com/BMWCCA-COTA-2022

Besides being in June its going to be a pretty awesome event (as long as enough racers register). Having both an HPDE and Club Racing event at the same place will be a lot of fun. Signed up for both - going to be racing likely in BMod again and bringing out a few of the other cars to play taxi service during the HPDE.
Group of us going so rented a couple of garages. Might have a space or two open if anyone wants join us.

It will be quite warm so make sure you and car are prepared.
If you haven't been out there in awhile there is a new gas station near the gate.

Yeah, warm and humid. It was 7am and I was completely soaked through rotating tires in the garage when I was there. Yeeeeech. Aaaaaaand, if you haven't met bigjae1976 yet, he's a good guy. All y'all will have fun at COTA.

I remember and Audi got stuck in the ditch during a dark morning at that gas station. Also found a good Mexican food truck across TX-130. They don't speak English which is a plus. And questionable sanitation practices, one important ingredient to the food truck experience. Don't worry - COTA has plenty of clean bathroom.

They better, I haven't been there since 2016. Plenty of time to clean up.

I can set you up in a well sorted track car if that would be easier. Full support too since we will be there.

That's more car than I'm used to driving! Never driving on race tires or even been in a race car. My buddy maybe interested. He races Spec e46 with NASA and usually finishes on the podium. Can you PM me how much that would run and I'll forward to him. Thanks for the offer! .

I have a couple of other E92 M3 options and an M2C that are all very well sorted for track work. Not on the level of the race car but still very fun & very quick on the track.
