Unfortunately my E90 M3 suffered scoring on cylinder #6 after a fuel injector failed.

Autocouture found the damage and I will upload the pictures once I get home.

I am offering it here before Copart (cash for cars) comes by and picks it up. Full transparency- they have offered $5,697 for the car in its current condition.

Basics:

The bad:
-Cylinder 6 Scoring
-Passenger front fender is cracked
-Rear bumper has hairline cracks near the ledge where it meets the trunk
-Few carfax dings—at this point it really doesn’t matter, but clean title.

The good:
-Brakes, driveshaft, rear axles, H&R springs, rogue short shifter, BE bearings with ARP bolts all have less than 5k on them.
-New starter, spark plugs, fuel injectors, throttle actuators…these have less than 500 miles on them.
-Other than the fender and rear bumper the body panels are all in good shape. No major dings or damage. Car looks ok from 10 ft back. Good candidate for a full body wrap.
-Interior is clean. Carbon Leather trim in perfect shape. No rips or tears in the seats.
-I have over $15k in receipts within the last 18mo for this car. It was cared for with an open checkbook. ACM, M-Chanics, and Off-Camber were the 3 shops I used for all mechanical work.

The car still starts, runs, and drives/moves under its own power. However after ~3 minutes there is quite a bit of smoke out of the back. If you wanted to ship the car it would be considered "operational"

I see this car going to a mechanic or competent enthusiast who will either fix the motor or drop a new one in. Would be a good basis for a track build as everything on the car besides the motor is fully operational and was track worthy just a few months ago. Or if you want to start a YouTube channel and get some followers quickly you can set the car on fire.


I will take any amount over the Copart offer. So yes, if you offer $5,698 it’s yours assuming no one has otherwise outbid you. The last E90 M3 on here that also had a bad motor I think sold for over $9k. And that car had multiple windows in the block.

Title in hand, two keys, all maintenance receipts will come with the car. Located in North NJ.
