These 2 are rather large value-killers. Figure it costs about $3k for RB's at a reputable shop. To properly clean and reseal the CF roof, well I have seen that vary but max to replace the roof would be about $6k with a new one installed. Obviously it will be less if you can find someone who knows how to reseal it properly.

Also, no mention of DTC/Manual?? That makes a big difference as well.

Given what you have mentioned and the miles, I would say, as is, $32-33K as an upper limit. Maybe a bit more if Manual. FR interior is the biggest selling point on this car so that will be pulling it up a little.

Really appreciate this response. I've updated the original post to mention it's in fact, DCT.

I do know a few shops that run rod bearing specials but financially not looking to go that route right now. I know most people target this first when they purchase an E9x M.

Carbon roof is not the worst eyesore but definitely noticeable. I'm aware that its common for the roof to chip/peel away due to the sun over time. 6k seems way too much but I'm not doubting you. I'm sure someone would rather just sand and re-coat.

Yep, the $6k number is with a new roof from the dealer (about $4k alone) with installation. There are some that can do it properly, but CF requires a good deal more work than paint, as you will have to strip the gel coat, clean the bare CF and then add a number of coats of new gel coat. It is a lot of work.

I paid 400 to have my roof refinished. You just gotta find a place that's comfortable working on it.

If you can get the roof refinished that's probably a ~$42k car.

A few things to note - in the real world (not on BAT), manual and DCT don't differ too much. Manual owners usually like to post their cars for a premium but I'd bet more people are looking for DCT over manual as it is arguably the better transmission option for this car.

As far as the rod bearings, 54k miles is still early for bearings so don't worry (again the BAT mindset of it having to be done at that mileage).

The roof would impact the price though, as at that mileage and year, the roof really shouldn't be pealing. I'd say try to get that fixed then post it for sale. Otherwise a relatively low mileage comp with a desirable color combo should get good money.
