Low price, with 6 k down on a lease. If you put 12k it be even cheaper. The key to a lease us zero down or as little as possible. I got a deal $843 vert, DCT,Original options tech, premium pkg, 19S CAP Cost $1200 which I had no choice bmw wanted it cause of credit.

Either way I know you will enjoy your car and good luck. Taxes up front another bad idea. On a lease only fees should be upfront and nothing else, MSDs are only other money that should be even thought about. Why are you not thinking about MSDs, you are gonna keep car term of the lease, right.

To all of those who criticize Cap Cost:

$1000 Cap Cost X 36 months = $27.77/month or so (maybe $20) So what is a big deal with Cap Cost? It is just paying forward your lease... It is one way or another, pay a bit forward or monthly. I would much rather do a small Cap Cost to accomodate my monthly payments amount to fit my monthly budget than holding on to some $4k... that money still has to come out of your pocket by the end of lease no matter how you look at it. Lease numbers have never been better on E90/E92/E93 M3 .

Why get the car at all if you are planning to total it?

Now... for less than $50/m you can have ZCP added to your M3 and that will include re-mapped EDC, 10mm lower suspension, and wider wheels! I think it's a good deal, you should go for it man... $50 a month isn't much these days... make that money by cutting back on cell phone bill or else

JzB + Bamboo+ CF Roof+ 6MT+ ZCP= simply stunning!

To each is own. Paying taxes up front, cap cost money down is a terrible idea any way you guys wanna argue it. None of us ever think we will be in a totalled accident, or our car will get smashed while parked,or some jerkoff stealing it for parts,or chopping it up. Funny thing is it happens all the time. People that know leasing I guess don't know what there talking about. You are never to put money down as downpayment or cap cost ever its a bad move anyway you put it. Good luck

I don't lease, just saying that is one of the reasons. Another reason is on most leases I'm guessing people write off some of it. Less to write off...

Is BMW paying you to pimp ZCP?? Every time I see a post you are extolling its benefits. $50 may not be a lot to you but it is for some people. You will never feel any of the remapping, 10mm lowered ride height or whatever else unless you are pushing the car to its limits. Maybe you will be, but I bet most of us will never get anywhere near it.

+1. So for those of you who put wads of cash down on your leases, did/do you also pre-pay rent in any apt. you lived in in college? I bet no.

True. Leasing a car makes for a legit business expense. I do a lot of freelance work, and when filing taxes at end of year, travel/transportation rolls right in as a write off. Besides lease itself and auto insurance and extra charge for over-miles ($4k+ in over-miles last lease), I save every receipt,- gas, parking, tolls, etc,... You would be amazed how much all that crap adds up to, just shocking... I drove from NY to Miami and back when gas was $5/gallon> spent $$$ hundreds ($500+) in gas on just one trip!

... so extra return at end of year is always a nice bonus Leasing is perfect for me

... if I had more parking space here in Bay Ridge, I would lease one more car just to turn my taxes into something more tangible

I agree with not placing a down payment on the lease, however if you roll the taxes into a payment you have to pay finance charges on the tax.

Actually, the only places that applies is in New York and Illinois, I believe. In New Jersey, I think you actually have up-front taxes on the total of the payments. This amount you can capitalize into the lease and then you are financing the taxes, but it is not the total amount of the car.

In the other states (besides the no sales tax states), you only pay tax on the monthly payments, which is actually a benefit compared to purchasing. In a way, you are still being taxed on the financing (but not financing the tax), but the current lease rates are much lower than most of the local and states taxes.

I just read over my reply, and it sounds quite convoluted. Eek.

My CA did confirm that the new pricing was released. He was not in his office, but said he would send it my way once he got to his desk. Stay tuned...
