Would you mind telling us how much you are putting down to get that monthly payment?

I mean actually, the car I'm ordering has a sticker of $65,625, Negotiated Price is $62K, plus tax tag title,. etc. On a 60 month Select Loan, with $3K down the payment is $702/month.....

I don't follow this math. Any way I calculate a loan payment, financing $62k for 60 months, even using 0.9% APR, I get a monthly payment of more than $1,000 per month. How do you get a $702/month payment?

Putting 6 k down as cap cost on a lease, you are out of your mind. Even if your fees are included in the 6 k its about 4 k in cap cost. It is never wise to put cap cost down on a lease. Is it a vert or a coupe, The way it seems to me without 4 k down that would add like $100 to you payment making payment $860 a month on a coupe not even loaded. Something don't seem right to me. Put that 4 k or more into MSDs up to 7 and lower the MF you will not lose the MSDs snd will get it back at end of lease.

Cap cost you lose and fees the whole 6 k God forbid someone totals you're car hopefully if it ever happened knowone is in car. I was always told on a lease no money into cap cost(diwnpayment).

yeah thats true, you do in fact lose that down payment if someone steals your car or if it gets totaled, but you have to realize, the residuals on these cars have changed drastically and the lease payments upon approval of course are at a new low. Now is the time to lease one

Very well understood, so put the 4 k on the side for the higher payment, then put some MSDs to lower MF you get MSDs back.what is the MF you were given.

why would you put a down payment on a lease? MSD instead as long as you plan to keep the lease for the full term.

Actually the residuals are quite poor unless you are leasing a vert. The residual, the last time I checked, was 57% on the coupe ( for 15K miles) as opposed to 63% for the vert. The MF is .00018 I believe which equals 4.X% interest rate. BMW is offering 1.9% financing for purchases which is without a doubt the better deal. But the lease offers the low payments and is essentially a transaction in buying a monthly payment.

I, for one, would never make a down payment on a lease. You are better off banking the cash you would have put down and taking the higher payment. If the monthly payment is too high for you, use your down payment (now banked) to subsidize the monthly payments. Why give it to BMW? Keep it for yourself and retain use of the money.

Listen to this. I priced out an M3 sedan which was 3k less msrp and the lease was almost $100 more on a monthly payment with the same amount of money down. These cars did drastically come down in price lease wise. My friend priced out the same car 6 months ago, and the lease payments came out to well over $1000 a month

Man, first of all congrats!
