Hopefully no cons will arrive from using it (clog or whatever). I know you guys haven't had anything wrong with it. |

If you're reading what I think you're reading, its BS. You could fill the engine with 100% Molyslip and it wouldn't "clog".

But yeah lots of people are disagreeing and saying they don't have issues. So a whole can of molyslip (300ml) in addition to the regular oil ammount or put a bit less oil? |

Just remember to always add Molyslip last, and to take it for a 10 minute drive to circulate it. Otherwise it'll sink to the bottom of the pan.

FYI, check with your local Home Hardware if you have them where you live. They tend to stock it

Molyslip is Canadian uh? Woops forgot to put thread link in the other reply. https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forum...&Number=285055 But turns out I think it had something to do with assembly grease in his engine or something like that |

Anyone have any updates on where I should get my bearings changed? Considering RMP for now because Rocco sounds like a cool name. If you have changed your bearings somewhere please keep us updated.

Here is what i found in an email before the service.
Calico coated bearings from VAC ARP connecting rod bolts Oe oil pan gasket OEM motor mounts Oil Change Moli Slip TBH i dont know the exact figure as i got a bunch of other work done at the same time. Did my brakes and odd and end stuff. I think it was in the neighbour of $3200 for the bearings and everyrhing listed above. The car runs good, i didnt notice anything out of the ordinary prior aswell but some bearing looked like absolute crap and were on their way out. The bearings were Always on my mind and it took the thrill of driving away. While i do not track the car i did it regardless just for the peace of mind. I simply did not want to end up having to change the engine of the vearings went and having a mis matched VIN numbers in the car etc. My E92 for me is a joy to drive and i daily the car. Love it and having a mis matched VIN car and then doing the bearings after the engine swap would boil my blood. |

Molyslip eh?? I totally forgot about this stuff after using in a car of mine 20 years ago. After every oil change, the valves and motor was loud and rattly, but sounded like new with a can of Moly. Changing to winter oil this weekend so I will add a can.

close, owner caught it on time.
if he was watching/keeping an eye out on the oil analysis on the car it would show that there would be high levels of copper in the engine.
