PLEASE Explain BMW

ASSIST. As a new car what comes with it besides maintenance for 50k or3 years. BMW assist if you don't buy it what do you get or whats the difference. Do you get bmw assistance without crash response, no unlock feature and no button to press in car. You must call from your phone is that the only difference .

Dice, have you considered Mercedes? I hear they will assist you all you want!

However,

With BMW ASSIST You get BlueTooth.

You get 2 or 3 Phone Calls a year via BMW Assist SOS- nice feature if you are lost or else and your cell phone out of range or out of charge... Just press SOS and they will patch you through to whatever # you want to call- free of charge. I used it to make personal phone calls and it was a life saver!

I was researching but not finding what I want. I thought assist was free, but see it as a standalone option and as an option in a pkg. Is that the only way it comes in pkgs and is by no means free.

It's a good option to have. I was on strict budget ordering the car, but still I could not pass ASSIST and got it. It is $750 full price, little less dealers invoice.

How can you have a high end car without BLUE-TOOTH that is linked to your i-drive? So, ASSIST is a must have.

OK BMW assist it is then. I just always thought it was included. I dont need my phone hooked up to speakers. I just thought it was included.
