Anybody going to advanced ///M school at VIR this week? (Report is up now)

Would be fun to do a joint report for the board.

H,

Hey. Marc here from Jersey. It was nice meeting you & driving with you out there at VIR M School this week.

Since it isn't good form to brag....I'm gonna do it for "H". H was FAST! He scored the top lap time on the Patriot course at the end of our sessions. I got paired up with the H man on the first day. I was pushing the M cars hard but not hard enough to keep up with him. He was moving fast out there!!! Nice job.

Hope to see you out in our neck of the woods at some of the local events.

Hi Marc, @mvigod, it was awesome driving with you. Sorry that I didn't get back to you earlier. What was lingering those two days already completely came down on me on Wednesday (fever etcetc). Probably psychosomatic for me just missing these awesome cars ;-)
Man, that was a blast and these F8Xs!!!! I am working on a write-up ...

H,

Awesome. Look forward to the writeup. I'll add a few pics I took out at the event to your thread.

I was really impressed with the M3/4's there. BMW did a great job on these cars.

Hope you feel better too.

Oh yeah...a shout out to the M School instructors and crew. AAA+ team there. Well organized. Professional. Great bunch of guys. Can't say enough good things about them.

If any of you BMW fans out there have never been to the M Performance schools I highly recommend it. So worth it.

Guys:

I am anxiously awaiting your write-up on the VIR Advanced M School. I did one at the end of April, it was fantastic and I cannot wait to return for another. The school that I did still had the E92 M3's, which I really like, but hearing about the F8x's will be great. I've spent plenty of time on the forums looking for conversation about the experience and there seems to be very little, so this will be great.

Trying to get started on my flight from ORD today. It's been an absolutely crazy week but one thing is for sure, it's 100% worth going. Details/pics/vids hopefully all by Monday the latest. H

The report is up at http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1046225

Wasn't really sure where to put it since it's a cross over of F80 and F10.

Enjoy!

H.
