CT Emissions with super charger
Hi guys,
I haven’t posted in a few years but over the past few months I have fallen back in love with my M again. 2011 E92 with 43k which has basically been a garage queen. I ve been running a full Akra Evo with ESS tune on and off. Just did the rod bearing replacement and now have the itch to supercharge. Thinking about getting VF 650. Has anyone out there who lives in Connecticut and is supercharged had an issues with passing emissions. I understand about having the OEM Cats and flash back to stock being needed to pass but does anyone know if they do a visual inspection of the engine bay? I would hate to super charge and then have to remove the supercharger every 2 years. Thanks in advance, Joe

Have you ever gone through the inspection process with them in the past? I'm not entirely sure of the accuracy of this article however I'm am not seeing anything related to opening the engine cover.

Don’t know about emission on CT, but get the VF595 kit and just get the 92mm pulley from ESS already milled. No need to spent an extra $2,000 for the VF650, I went that route with 2-3 gallons of E85(e30) and its runs amazing.
