rod bearing shop in Chicagoland?
I finally got a V8!
but it probably needs rod bearings and that's the one job I'm uncomfortable doing myself (at least for now). Is there a go-to in Chicagoland?

Performance Euroworks in Buffalo Grove (soon will be in Elk Grove) got alot of work done there when I got my E90, including rod bearings and TAs. See a few posts down with some additional details about reputable shops in Chicagoland.

I got mine done at Performance Euroworks. Great team, smart dudes. I think all in for BE bearings (parts included) was around $2400. Came with new motor mounts, the BE bearings, and BE rod bolts. Really nice dudes and very easy to work with. I did my TBAs as well and they provided me with all the old parts as proof of work.
I would highly recommend Performance Euroworks and if I need any more work done, they will be the first folks I call. They pretty much only work on M3s and Porsches. |
