Can you please a little more about your experience with the 991.1 GTS? I really want a gt3 but may "settle" for the Gts or even an S (I'm actually hopefully going to test drive a PDK S soon). For context I have a manual e90 m now that I'm keeping so 911 would be an addition. 911 would be the second car and hopefully get some track with it etc. Thanks.
The GT3 will be at a different level of involvement and driving experience. More exotic that a standard 911. However there are trade offs like having to rev the car to get some fun out of it. So depends what you are after. GT3 will be a rush when you drive not so much the non GT3. The GTS is simply a base 911 loaded up. Remember the GT3 will hold it's value better so even if it's a stretch then I'd do it. Since it's a second car I'd go GT3 as when I go to my 2nd car it's to go blast around.

All of it has been said already, but not by all of us, so ...

Just consider: here in Germany, you may get 2 well maintained & equipped E92 M3s for the price of a 991.2 C2s ...

Having said that, I honestly admit, that a 991.2s PDK has crossed my mind as a daily far too many times already as well. Sounds like a very good combination, that compliments each other.
