Anyone in bay area have a catless M3?

Can I please smell and listen to your car? Preferably if you have a stock exhaust w/ primary cats deleted only. I would super appreciate it!!

Thank you
Kyle

There are a bunch. I'm sure at the next monthly meet you could 'have a smell'.

the short of it;

when driving, even with all windows down - fine, don't notice it
when driving slow, even with all windows down - fine, barely if at all notice it
when in stop start traffic, with all windows down - you're sucking in straight fumes
when driving or stopped in traffic with windows up - fine, don't notice it

if you're familiar with straight piped cars, it's par for the course, nothing out of the ordinary. if you've never been down this path before, you are in for a pretty big shock.

if you've got kids, or a missus who is sensitive, don't bother.

all said and done, the car is a different animal without the cats, i fell in love with it all over again when i lost mine.

If you're worried about it being too loud and it smells, don't waste your time...the answer is yes to both counts. If you're someone like me who doesn't care about either one of those, then you'll be okay.

sweet thanks for all the info guys!!

I've never had a straight pipe/catless car before. I looking to delete primary cats mainly for power gains only (and for slightly raw-er sound, not SO much louder).
I don't want the car to be that crazy obnoxious loud (straight pipe), looking for a nice exotic - think sophisticated hooligan

Evolve X pipe sounds kinda interesting actually. Anyone else had experience with it, worth the money?

SFCM3 do you have the stock axle back with evolve X pipe, I assume you're happy? Would love to check it out one day

thanks again!

I have a Dinan rear muffler section, bolted rite onto the Evolve X-pipe. Running BPM stage 2 tune, car runs great.

I had a gutted OEM x pipe and it smelled bad, a little raspy. I changed it to a Macht Schnell x pipe and the smell is less for some reason and sounded a lot better.
