Is Wheel & Tire Insurance refundable after it's transferred?

Hello,

I'm about to buy a BMW from a private seller who has purchased a wheel and tire warranty package.

So I have to pay $50 to BMW to get this warranty transferred to me, but my question is, do you know if this warranty is refundable after it's been transferred?

In general, is it refundable at all?

When I bought my 335 I got the tire warranty and I'm pretty sure they told me it won't be transferable. I know the BMW tire warranty is done through a third party so I would find out what company and contact them directly.

i called BMW and they said it only costs $10 for paper work fee and can be done at the dealership where it was originally purchased

Not really sure if this helps all that much, but when I traded my Audi S5 in, I got a pro-rated refund on my wheel and tire insurance.
