CT: BBS CH-R Black 19x9 Front 19x10.5 rear | Tires and TPMS - Fairfield County, CT

Item Interest
Sold my M3 recently so looking to sell my BBS wheels.
BBS CH-R in Black with Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position Tires
TPMS sensors are installed that worked with my 2012, not sure what other years they work with.

Wheels and tires are the following specs:
Front 19x9 et 20 | 255x35
Rear 19x10.5 et 25 | 295x30

Wheels are generally in very good condition. Motorsport lettering was originally silver, but the previous owner painted it red.

All four tires have 6/32 remaining tread so there is a little life left.

You will see on one of the wheels there was a little scraping at some point of the outer edge, but it's not very deep and should be an issue unless you mount your wheels inside out.
There is also one wheel that has a little jaggedness that I circled in red. It's on the inner portion of the wheel and could probably be filed down, but I didn't mess with it. I am in Norwalk, CT and at this point looking to do local pickup only.

Please contact me with any questions.

do you think the red paint on the letters can easily be removed?
and do you know if the rims had previously been refinished?

Good question, I believe the previous owner used enamel to paint the lettering. I don't think the wheels were previously painted, but I can contact the previous owner to find out.

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, definitely. I just don't know if it would do anything to the underlying paint. I had the same concerns when I bought them and asked the question to the previous owner and this was his answer:
"These are official BBS wheels with real center caps and hubcentric rings installed for exact fit. Red writing was not from BBS as was hand painted with red enamel. Easy to be removed with paint thinner if you wish to do that."

Thanks,
Mike

yes i guess that's the concern, certainly some risk of maybe ruining the underlying paint...

I bought these used from another forum member. I don't know if these all come with silver rings. I believe these are the "Black Edition" wheels. I'm pretty sure you can buy them after the fact.

Thanks,
Mike
