Can you please elaborate? My understanding is that the S65 is going off the throttle position sensor as the primary fuel metering method. How would it be able to read manifold pressure now that the car is turbo charged?

We all know that the DCT has issues holding at about 500 lb-ft, IIRC. The $ question is how much TQ will this kit be able to put out, b/c if it's too much, the DCT crowd might not be in an enviable position.

20K for a kit just because it's an M3 lol.

At least you can say it might be reasonable because of the difficulty level in design and space constraints.

I will want a twin turbo M4 that will have amazing performance, full factory warranty, free maintenance, and will cost me much less in the end when you add the cost of this kit along with all the other upgrades required to effectively use all the power. Don't get me wrong now if money is no object sure this kit will be a blast and will help the E92 in STRAIGHT line acceleration to at least a 1/2 sec improvement. Nevertheless I have no doubt that magazine testing will yield a strong 3.6 range for the F8x along with lighter weight and much improved track performance that will be tough to beat. Essentially what this means it will require a LOT of dough, risk taking, and performance upgrades on a E92 to match and exceed a F8x. Nevertheless that is fun of car tuning for those willing to dare!

1/2 second from 0-60 or 1/4mile time?? It should shave a second easily on 1/4mile.

Agreed on the 1/4 mile. This car will sound amazing making a run for sure. I intended to say 0-60 but failed to include that detail.

20K is not unreasonable for a complete twin turbo kit.. not sure why you think otherwise. You're trying to turbo a $25,000 engine, and as you noted, in very limited space. This is an unbelievable achievement. Prices will come down over time.

Think about it this way.. few years time people can pick up a used M3 for what.. maybe $30K for an 08? Assuming the price of this kit comes down to $15K by that time, you're talking $55K for a car that WILL destroy the F8x in every way with a suspension refresh.

Or you could just buy a new Corvette that would spank both cars and have a warranty. Hasn't the M3 always been about more than just straight line performance? I'd take a new car over a 6 year old used car with added mods just about any day of the week.

As I've stated in the past, you're never going to catch me paying full price for a depreciating asset, warranty or no warranty.

That's awesome sauce right there. My goal has been to have a fast 2 dr, a fast 4 dr, and a 4x4 truck. When I purchased my M, I was at a crossroads as to whether it was time for the 2 or 4 door. Practicality won out, as I wanted the extra 2 doors the E90 affords at the time, and I had 2 more yrs of warranty cvg. I anticipated the MKIV would drop a little more in price, even if the pickings might be a bit more slim.
