New shoes for my baby, E92 M3 GT4 wheels (RE1242/RE1243). It's starting to look how I want it now. Just need another 5mm of spacer in the rear to get it sitting how I want

Great wheels! So much better than the forgestars in my opinion. Where'd you get them from, thinking of getting them next after my ARC-8s.

Been a long time since I've updated this thread. I still have my car, just passed the 70k mile mark. Since my last post, some major maintenance was done by Malek @ MRF including full brakes, swapped pads twice, fluids, and full DCT Service. I installed a Turner Motorsport underdrive pulley 10k miles ago, and I have a Recaro SPG going in soon-ish.

My goal/vision for the car has changed since my last post here. My original goal for the car was to build a street GTS/Schirmer style build. Over time, and i guess some age, the sleek and refined look of OEM+ calls and I've decided to move back towards that. I've also decided to try my hand with bimmer challenge starting later this year once I'm done with school. Current plans are to remove the front lip and go back to a stock trunk. Mod wise wont change much from now as I want to keep the daily drivability while also making it suitable for street.

Also, I sold the BBS Wheels to purchase a set of APEX ARC8-R in graphite which look awesome.

Yall wanna sponsor that?

In all seriousness, a widebody kit is not the direction I want to take my car in. As much as I like the look, it wouldn't make much sense for occasional track use or for daily driving duties. I just want to get the car repainted and back to a OEM+ look.

Close but not as much as your think. I won't say the exact price but it was around 3/4 of that. I don't plan on selling my car unless I absolutely have to do it's money we'll spent

It's definitely worthwhile maintenance! Albeit very DIY able for those inclined, but realize everyone has different interests. Either way enjoy the refreshed car!!

Thanks brotha, maybe one of these days I'll get over my fear of doing DIY on this car. But for now, I'll stick to doing basic stuff myself and let others deal with the big ticket items

Finally got out to my first trackday at Big Willow. I'm not inexperienced to racing as I used to race karts and have done a handful of autocross events but this was my first track experience with a car. My m3 handled it extremely well, no hiccups. Came out with some weak points that I'll need to address.

First weak point was tires, ran PS4S and they were fine but got greasy quick. Also T2, T8, and T9 ate through my driver side tires. By session 4, it got somewhat hairy on the high speed corners

Second, brakes and brake fluid. Currently running stock rotors, stoptech sport pads, steel brake lines, and upgraded motul fluid (not sure which one exactly but it's a higher temp fluid for occasional track days, recommended by my tech). Brakes were good, but after the lunch period the brake pedal felt mushy which didn't inspire much confidence. I checked for any fluid leaks and there were none. Not sure what happens there but the brakes are fine as of now. I'll look to just get some better fluid to start.

Lastly is driver skills lol. I need more seat time.

Otherwise had a great time.

Fresh update for you heathens

Rear end is getting sorted with Solid Rear Subframe Bushings and some fresh OEM Diff bushing. Wanted to go Poly but, considering that I daily drive the car, OEM is a better option for now.

Also addressing the spewing of PS Fluid on track with a Turner Motorsport PS Fluid Canister.

Lastly, will be installing some MadTrace paddles this weekend.

Next up will be to get coilovers, another wing since I sold my GTS Wing, and start sorting the paint issues on my car.

Big Wang to compensate for my small wang. Picked up from fellow forum member spxxx . Made custom support brackets out of thick steel but might make them larger with the amount of downforce this thing can make. Looks better in person.
