Hey Guys, I picked up a set of Apex EC 7's in 18x10 et33 on the Black Friday sale. I realized once the arrived that they would not clear my 2 way KW club sports it's a mistake on my part for sure. So the question I have is would you ;

A.) attempt a return / sell them for a set in et 25
B.) try and run a aggressive spacer from the looks of it at least a 15mm.

12mm spacer is the ticket for this. 15 will poke. Would make it an effective -21 offset with a 12mm which is basically like running an 18x10 et25 with a 5mm spacer, which some folks do to clear their kw cs

I think you mean +21, -21 would be way out there we need a bit more info regarding tire size.

You're on the right track but ultimately comes down to tire size, brand, camber and spring perch height. I've seen KW's rub with a 18x10 +25 even with a 5mm spring, but that was on a beefy 275/35. If he's runnning a 265/35 there should be no issue regardless.

Camber will determine poke, if he's over -2-2.5 worth of camber, you'll be ok with a 15mm spacer and a 275. Spring perch height comes into play here too as the further lower the perch is the greater opportunity of rubbing there is.

OP, follow back up with desired camber, and tire brand, and size and I can help out a bit more. I recently installed a set of my old 18x10 ET 25, with no additional spacer with a pirelli DH 275/645/18 on a customers car with KW V3 which have even worse clearance than most CS.

Thanks for the reply I'm hoping to go with Nitto NT01 in 275/35/18 all the way around. I'm currently and -2.5 camber thanks for your input.

Cool so when I had a 275/35 on my e92 with KW 2 way, I had to run a 5mm spacer and it was a bit close for comfort. If you're at a -2.5 camber you'll be able to comfortably run a 15mm spacer at an effective +18 offset, the 12mm (effective +21) will be cutting it close for that tire as they run fairly wide.

I run at -3.5 but here is what a 275/35/18 Dunlop on an 18x10 et 25 looks like with a 5mm spacer (effective 20). Albeit the NT01's are wider, I think you'll have plenty of room on the outside edge with a 15mm spacer

I do have a pair of 12mm spacers I could let you borrow, won't need them any time soon but would like to have them for my stash. Let me know if that interests you, we can work something out.

I run 18x10 +25 with 10f/12r spacers and 275s and don't have any rubbing issues. The only non-standard variable in my instance is that I have SPL arms up front so the track width may be slightly altered from stock.
