OCDetailing Detailed: 2008 Audi RS4 Clay and Wax
Hey everyone,
I haven't had much time to post up extensive details but I thought you may like this short post. It's an Black 2008 RS4. There is not much to say. I was just asked to clay and wax her and here she is. So I took my time to clay and wax. Oh the only thing mentioning is that I used Victorias Red Concours Wax. Time worked: 3 Hours

do you find claying a black vehicle introduces marring? Ive heard some pros say they won't clay a black vehicle unless its in really bad shape, they will do a wipedown with some thinner and then straight to polishing...

Hey KMAC,
If clayed lightly it shouldn't induce marring however it also depends on the clearcoat you are working with. I would never clay a Honda vehicle like an S2000 without following up with a polish. Audi's have hard clears and had no issues doing a light clay. Hope that helps. Cheers, Nick
