For those with Yokohama advan v601

Anyone running 255/275 v601 tires? If so with spacers? They just delivered. I’m sure they won’t rub with 15/12 spacers but I am curious.
Looking for some feedback as many e9x owners are into PS4S
Cheers,

I don't have the V601 on my M3 but I went from PS4S to V601 on my daily driver.

The V601 are wider with more squared sidewalls compared to PS4S. Check your clearances, even with the same size tires, it will be a more aggressive fitment.

The V601 also has a stiffer ride and more feedback.

I see. Thanks for your input. From pictures, PS4S looked a lot wider than V601's.

I'll most likely bring up the rear 12mm to the front and buy a new 10mm for the back if that's the case.

Another note, how do you like the v601's so far?
My car is in storage so I will not be able to drive on the new tires. Only bought these right now because the deal was too good to pass on.

I have 245/275 v601 with spacers 15/12. No rubbing issues.

So my only issue is that I do find that these tires a bit stiff during this time of the year. It doesn’t stick to the road as it would in the summer months.

When I bought my car, it came with s04’s from 2016. I hope these are better than the old hockey pucks I have on the car right now.
I do have the car in storage because of Michigan winter. Plan on taking it out end of March.

I've had them for a year now. I put 15k miles on on them, I think I can get another 10k miles maybe with tire rotations on my square tire set up. It'll last as long as the 25k tire warranty it has.

As I mentioned earlier, the ride is much stiffer compared to PS4S. Also a bit more road noise. Handling, it makes the car feel much more responsive and nimble because of the stiff sidewalls.

If you like a more sporty ride and handling, it will definitely provide that over the PS4S. If you want something more for every day driving, the PS4S is better.
