Any Other 19x10 "Squared" ZCP owners?
Hey Guys,
So far to date, I've only seen one other owner "Malek" pull of a 19x10 squared ZCP wheel setup. Curious to see if there are any others out there who have done it. If so, please shed some light on the topic. I'm considering doing a set of aggressively flushed set ZCP's and want to see what others have pulled off. For Reference here's Malek setup: Front BMW M3 GTS 359m 19x10 et25, Michelin PS2 265-35-19 Rear BMW M3 GTS 359m 19x10 et10, Michelin PS2 275-35-19 My car will be on KWV3's. Doesn't look like there is anymore room to lower on Malek's setup. In fact I'm REALLY surprised it doesn't currently rub. Major Propers to him for pulling this off! Thanks! -Sam- |

I love the look, but I can't justify the extra cost of selling my brand new ZCP's and buying four 19x10 gts wheels and new tires just for the front's to be 1 inch wider and have a little wider rubber. I think I may just get my ZCP's painted.

I have a set of 18X10, ET25, and they work fine with 275/35 all around. Not sure why one would go to a 10” width all around, and not use the same offset and tire size. One of the advantages is the freedom to rotate front/rear, which you lose in the suggested setup. And most cars will rub in front with the 265/35-19.

Not sure...But according to Malek it doesn't. I believe the 35 series tire is a bit chunky looking (which he said he's changing up soon.)

i run a square set up also but just use a spacer in the rear so i can have 4 tires and 4 wheels that are the same size and allow rotation all the way around and still sit flush.

I thought Malek used a spacer, like chriszeh said.

My car has a spacer in the rear to flush it out as you see in the pictures above.
The car does not rub, not in the front or the rear and the car has been tracked with the above setup many times. -Malek

yes but your not really running a square set up you have different wheels and tires front to back.

After the next track event when the front tires are gone, I will be switching over to 275-30-19 or 285-30-19.

there different offsets also correct so you still wont be able to rotate front to back, which i thought was the point of a square set up. at least for me its why i did it.

Ability to rotate the tires is a byproduct of having the square setup. The primary purpose is to change the driving dynamic between understeer/oversteer. I will admit, the car has become a bit more of a handful to drive at the track, but it is something I don't mind because it has tremendous grip. Understeering is easier to deal with than oversteer.

okay i was just going by the first post that says 19x10 et 25 and 19x10 et 10 didnt know you where calculating the offset including spacers usually the backspacing is refered to as a function of the wheel itself. i used a square set up to dial out the understeer as well made the car closer to neutral but still understeers more than over and easier to modulate, played with it on the skidpad and you can feel the car gently shift from under to over. lots of benefits to having the square set. 1. easy to even out tire wear with side to side and front to back rotation. 2. dials out understeer to some degree. 3. having 1 extra wheel and tire is useful can go anywhere on the car if damage or other issue. 4. get a deeper concave look to your front wheel. 5. nice flush look.

So what I am gathering is that there isn't anyone yet who has run a 19x10 et25 front wheel with a 275/30 19 tire, and can verify there is no rubbing.

How do you like the KW sleeve-overs? How low can you go with them compared to just running springs?
