X5 Angel Eyes LEDs

This is the X5 Angel Eyes kit from **********s.com. The installation was pretty straight forward and only took about 10 minutes to complete. I installed these after work so it was already dark here in Germany. I’ll take a couple of pics tomorrow during the day and post them here as well. First impressions are they look pretty good. They do have a slight blue tint to them but they actually match very well when the lights are on.

They are bright if you’re looking at the car, but you can barely tell they’re on if you’re behind the wheel. Meaning they look good but they’re not functional. I hope that makes sense.

I can almost guarantee that these will be hardly visible during the day, which IMHO is the weak point of the LED angel eyes. I had the PIAA ones on my regular E92 and they were hardly noticeable during day time.

It's actually the fault of BMW. The LED angel eyes worked well on the regular E90 headlights and are visible during the day. Somehow they changed the design of the headlights in E92 and came up with this awful design.

Yes this is true..... it is largely BMW's fault and the way they did the halo's on the e92 but they went to this system on even the 08 e90's, 6 series, etc.

Well, if these don't work out then I'll be hitting you up for one of your kits. I'll just need you to come out to Germany to install that badboy.
