Great color!
Oh, so it seems the color has been around longer than I thought. Great looking Z3!

I didn't realize there are professional photographers all over the ring that take shots of every car and upload them to their website and sell them. I found a couple good ones of my lap!

I can't believe seeing this post! I was at the ring the same day! I may be in one of your pics, but I can't tell from a distance. I know you were there when I was parked cause I see one of the spots I first parked in and re-parked cause the car poked out too much and the car that pulled in behind me is in your pic. I took ED of my first M3 on May 2nd and toured 6 days including that day at the track. We got there same time when they were helicoptering out 2 crash victims. I have a bunch of the same pics I need to post soon. What a gorgeous day that was - we were really fortunate. They're probably on the same boat? Can you give me the web address where you got those pics of you on the ring? I totally forgot they did that. Do you have any info on the boat? I just emailed my CA and Loginout today to try to find out.
PS- I think I may have even replied to one of your posts when you were going through your purchase and talking about David A. @ BMWNorthwest?

Awesome, Small world! Yeah we got there at the tail end of the closure and toured around the parking area, grabbed some gas and food then did our lap and headed home.

Here is the website that links you too the photographers sites, there are more out there if you just search nurburgring photos.

I'm onboard the SE 'Faust' which sailed from Bremerhaven on the ~15th and is somewhere in the middle of the atlantic ocean.

Thanks for the link. Just found out today I'm on the Asian King which left 5/28, so I must have missed your boat cause I stayed there longer and dropped it off later. I'm just glad I'll see the car in June instead of July! Love your color choice btw. The BMW blues have really grown on me to where I almost wish I would have gone with that to catch more eyes. Oh well, next time. Nice photos, too. Well done.

Oh - are you trucking it from the dealer to your location or do you live by the dealer? I have to pick a trucking company to get mine from BMWNorthwest over to Portland, OR where I live and need some advice.

I strongly considered Speed Yellow myself. You're absolutely right though, it's a no lose decision.

No you can have the car courtesy delivered to a local dealer for around $500. You have to set that up before it is dropped off though. I'm picking mine up at a L.A. dealer even though I bought it from northwest BMW in Baltimore.

You know I almost chose speed yellow based on your ED thread. I think, like you, I would have been overly satisfied with either!

Already Purchased:
OEM GTS Rims
12/15mm spacers
Gloss Black Grills/Gills
iND reflectors
F-10 M5 Shift knob/boot
Revinora CRT Lip in Carbon Fiber
80mm Black Chrome Exhaust tips (until I decide on full exhaust)

On the short list (aka funds approved by wife):
BMW Performance Steering Wheel (Blue Stripe)
BMW Performance rear spoiler (special paint job from iND)
Springs (dependent on lip clearance and satisfaction with the ZCP stance after spacers)
AA Green Filter
35% Tint

On the wish list (aka divorce threatened if purchased but will eventually break her spirits):
GTM Challenge Carbon Leather trim with Santorini stitching
BMW Performance Seats
Full Exhaust/Tune
Full Coil-over Suspension

The initial theme is to make it look like the Edition package that Santorini was originally offered in that was only for the U.K. Market. But Im sure the mod bug will keep the car constantly evolving.
