Removal of SRS module
I'm trying to have my airbag lights coded out and was told that to do so I need to remove the SRS module. Has anybody done this?
If so, I'd appreciate any advice on location and removal. The only information I was able to find was this thread: http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...-2011-BMW-328i Is it the same process for our cars? |

You do not have to remove the SRS module to code out the airbag lights...I had them coded out with the module still connected however once I disconnected the module the lights did come back but I am sure they can be coded out again...location should be where your handbrake is located under the center console.
