Quiet here lately. My M is all bundled up in the lake house garage, I won't see it for two weeks.

it's awesome when storms come in off the gulf. before the storm comes, i can sit on my patio and listen to the waves break on the gulf. i'm kinda a weather geek.

btw, has anyone been on that 'ride' called TWISTER at Universal Studios in Florida? I've been in it twice, and I thought it was pretty incredible. |

Hearing the tornado sirens go off when youre asleep is not cool, especially if you sleep naked.
Being wide awake (ie intoxicated?) in a tornado is flipping badass. Funny enough, my first nascar experience was also accompanied by my first tornado experience.

Hello folks,
A few days ago, I posted on this thread that my oil level was showing exactly half. I drove a few hours yesterday (3 hrs), and it now all of a sudden says: +1 qrt Isn't that oil level reduction drastically too fast? Also, I know that either way, I'm gonna have to get an oil change, and I'm approaching 10k miles on my M. I heard Choung @ Classic can give an oil change on the M for $50? What's his direct # again please? Thanks for any help possible. |

I can't remember what it says, I'm about to go look right now and I'll take a picture and send it to your e-mail! One bottle probably won't indicate it to full, but it will stop it from saying one quart! About to take a picture and send it to your email! Btw, if you're not good at pouring things, I definitely recommend picking up a cheap funnel (Varies from 50 cents to $3). You could probably pick it up at autozone or wal mart..anywhere really. It make's life much easier..

I bought this gold bottle from Classic BMW: Castrol / SAE 10W-60 It costed me a total of $12.78 Soon after I got it, I pulled into a empty restaurant parking lot, and filled her up. It now currently shows that I'm 90% from all the way full. Before I filled it up, it showed that I was about 10% from completely empty. Btw, I was brave enough to do all this hard work without a funnel. I'm the man! Thanks for your great help, Dev. |

I would have tried to do the same, but I was afraid that they would do one of their 'BMW ecu updates', and that would mess up my tune.
That's why I wanted to get in touch with Choung, since I've been told that he's mod friendly. Oh well. I'll look out for him next time. |
