I will get pics by end of the week. I know you are waiting chris

BTW, powdercoat>paint... the durability is worth the premium in the long run
Yeah, is that blue one semigloss or gloss?

looks like gloss to me. Usually I am a fan of semi-gloss but on that color (and black) gloss looks perfect!

Yeah it does look glossy and it would look pretty badass on black as well!

Has anyone ever done hyperblack on style 220 wheels? Or any of the other E9X M3 wheels?

Mine are in right now being re-done from anthracite to 'shadow chrome' just like the e39 M5 OEM wheels.
Will post some pics when I get them back.

edit:

They're back and I think I've got it right this time, on car pics to follow.

Looking forward to seeing some pics with the wheels on the car...I think I will go for the same finish if they look as good as I think they will.

Smoked chrome - love 'em

A crappy camera, an overcast day and low res Photobucket images mean they don't look half as good in the pics as they actually are.

Sorry, just seen this.

The Wheel Specialist in Fareham, Hants - they have branches aroung the UK. They did a great job (both times) and customer care was as good as you could wish for. Cost me about £350.

Thanks...I'm still trying to decide what finish to get on a spare set of very lightly kerbed 19" wheels I got cheaply off ebay...I'm torn between the shadow chrome, ltd edition gloss black and a plain BMW silver.
