dct Paddels on omp corsa

hi guys, im building up my e92 for the nordschleife here in germany.

now I removed the complete Airbag-stuff and want to replace the oem steering wheel with the dished omp corsa superleggera.

before I build adapters for the dct paddles my question:

does anybody know if there is a solution to buy to mount or replace the oem paddles?

One solution would be to forgo the paddles and shift via a modified longer dct shift knob.

I tried this last summer, but the feeling was not good - the stick is too long, so its too easy to shift and the way is too long.

its better to bring the whole unit upwards- maybe without the emergency shift because the cable is too short.

but i will get tomorrow the new steering wheel and try to produce adapters as well - i still can't find a solution to buy.

OP have you checked out the paddles offered by bmwpedals.com or EAS? I've got a set of paddles from bmwpedals.com that I swapped out from the OEM ones...these paddles are just as long as the ones you will find on the M6 and are fairly easy to install.

Hi, thanks for your reply, the Problem is, i want to mount the paddles not on the stock steering wheel. I have this one:

So, I started to make an adapter for the paddles, and now I saw this one:

The shifter should fit the E9x. I just asked them a few questions (about the wiring, if the angle is adjustable etc.)

Does anybody tried them out?

As long as part number 3 in diagram is retained on the original steering column, you can mount the factory paddles to anything and make it work.
