E90 M3 floor mats

Anyone have a clue where to get the mats, seems like they are all out and no one has an idea when and if they will be back. I've tried all the online places and a few dealers across US. all are saying nothing in stock and nothing in Germany. I'm really interested in the fronts, would the E92 or 93 fit the sedan?

@motoNYC

I have an E92 and purchased mine from ebay under this listing:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/18470656797...AAAOSwv3RgeGC5

Looks like the same seller has some for your car as well, albeit more expensive: https://www.ebay.com/itm/19236460868...8AAOxy1klRbSVi

I can vouch for the authenticity of the mats I received and have no reason to doubt you'd have the same experience.

There’s always the classic Coco Mats too. I believe you get a discount if you’re a CCA member.

Has anyone experienced this before from BMW? Does their production of the mats stop and start for old models such as our e90 m3?

They stop making them at some cutoff date in some cases. I had an E39 M5 for 14 years, and BMW quit making the Caramel color floor mats I believe by 10 years after last production date (which was around 2013) for example. However, that is for a very limited number of cars (less than 2000 total produced with that interior color).

I guess the E90 M3 is a very limited market too with only 5867 cars imported to North America and 3807 in ROW. It's not hard to imagine the specific E90 M3 mats going NLA at this point with the last E90 M3 production date being 10/2011.

Wow, in my ten years owning BMW M3s this is the first I've heard of it. I would have bought a few sets to hold onto.

Any other parts like this I should think about as a forever owner? I'm going on 6 years with my e90 M3...

If the mats are NLA at this point, I wish I had bought an extra set also! I'm on year 9 with my E90 M3...

For the E39 M5, the wheels went NLA about 2-3 years back now. The rear ones went NLA first, which isn't surprising since many of us through the years bought sets of rears to run square fitments. Before that time, BMWNA pricing on them increased significantly through the years.

For the E9x wheels, I would expect ZCP wheels to be NLA first; however, the E92 was built well into 2013, and there is a much larger universe of M3s when you consider all the E92 and E93 models, so one would think the chances of a part common to the entire E9x platform going NLA is much lower. At worst, it's likely still a number of years off before they wouldn't be available any longer.

FWIW, I tried the driver's mat from my M2C in my E90 M3, and it fit very well...not quite perfect, but close enough if needed. I've thought about buying the two front M-performance mats for the M2C, using those in the M3, and storing my OE mats. I'll have to recheck that fit and also test the passenger side first.

Please let me know any fitment details when you get a moment to fit the m2 mat in your e90, I'd appreciate it!

I tried the passenger side mat, and it really does not fit well. It's too short by about 3", and the contour isn't similar to the E90 mat. It's just too small.

Thank you for checking. Just ordered the rubber mats and I will preserve my like new carpet M3 mats for the time being.

Everyone who ordered a set of carpeted mats from FCP, did any of you get a shipping confirmation yet? Had a few emails with them back and forth and they said they don't have an ETA yet. Just wondering if any of you ended up receiving the mats yet.

Yes, I received mine within a week of ordering.

Has anyone seen E93 mats in stock anywhere? Considering just getting an E92 set given my rear mats are in good shape.
