^ Yup, thanks. Kind of funny how most knocked the idea and I was reluctant given how cheap it seemed ... but dang if it doesn’t work well! I redid it yesterday to make it perfect. It takes a few tries to get it exactly right but it’s so cheap and easy, and looks original.
Went for a romp yesterday, took a few pictures. |

Been fixing up my old 330 and gave it a proper detail this weekend. Even though I have winters for the m, I'm thinking I will daily the 330 through the cold season. jet black all the way.

Threshold braked after redlining at legal speeds because I recognized the ugly trapezoid on top. This genius thinks he's patrolling to save the city at 1 am in the morning..
Why can't we have little fun when nobody else is around? *Unrelated pic, relevant vehicle*

The hardest one for me was the actual connector on the TA. I wanted to break the car after I got it off

Drove to work, halfway to work I had this weird issue where my DCT upshifts lagged a second. Downshifts were still crisp and fast, but the upshifts I could tell I was waiting for them. It was weird. Second time it has happened ever, not sure the cause.
Apparently sitting 8 hours in a parking lot fixes it, because the ride home both up and down shifts on the DCT were crisp and snappy. |

Let the car warm up in the garage yesterday morning for 10 min before heading to work cuz it's f..f..f...freezing here in Philly.
Looks like I'll need to get my winter wheels mounted this weekend...ugh.

None of my business but .... It's not recommended to let it warm up sitting idle right after starting.. better to drive after a minute or two, slowly at low RPMS, and let the oil circulate and allow other components to gradually warm up. Per BMW.

Yup, you're right, but it was so damn cold that I really wanted the cabin warmer, LOL.

Cleared off the anti-glare on the nav screen with PlastX and finished up wrapping my interior trim pieces with carbon vinyl.

Had a track day at sandown, Victoria , Australia yesterday. Great fun, managed surprisingly well with my already warped rotors. Using engine breaking and babying the breaks worked out quite well, takes away the temptation to flog it too much in the straights and concentrate more on smoothness in the corners

Blasted the AC evaporator and blower motor with Nextzett Klima Cleaner last night. My HVAC doesn’t smell at all but the evap issues on these cars scare me, so this was more preventive maintenance. Supposedly the cleaning foam not only cleans the components of dirt and pollen but also neutralizes any acid buildup.
