Got to hear my exhaust setup for the first time outside of the car... Totally different than I expected. Way louder, but way better than I expected. (Corsa + Rogue resonated TPs).

They are BF Goodrich Comp-2 A/S - 245/45 Fronts and 275/40 Rears. Might go 275/40 square in the Spring. The wheels are 17x9 ET30 ARC8s with 18mm spacers in the rear. 15mm will be going in the front soon. |

My old E36 had better handling and a better planted feel than the 335i. Granted, it's AWD, so I didn't get the benefit of the lighter more balanced sport suspension the RWD 335i's M-Sports come with. Even putting in Bilstein B4 Sports and Eibach Pros, still didn't even match how good the E36 chassis performed. And then since getting the E92 M3, I don't even want to sit in my 335i LOL. Rears: My ARC8s 17x9 w/ 275/40 are 45.5lbs while my 220Ms 19x9.5 with Kumho 265/35s are 54.13lbs. The steering is noticeably lighter compared to the 19" 220s. The rears also want to break loose quicker with the 17s. In some scenarios, the larger sidewall of the rear 17s seem a little bit bouncier over certain bumps compared to how the rear 19s feel. I figured that might have to do with the rear 220s being an 0.50" taller compared to the front 220s (the 17s are the same diameter front and rear), so the bumps might be distributed differently between the front and rear compared to how the 17 ARC8s distributes the force of the bumps. Overall, the 17s have been a much smoother and nimbler ride. I have been using them for the last 3 years...first on my 335 and now on the M3. Last edited by BeaterM3; 09-13-2019 at 04:29 PM.. |

I yesterday bought a can of Invisible Glass versus the normal squeeze bottles of glass cleaner I buy. I can only tell you how my clean job was in the early morning sun tomorrow to cars and coffee, but regarding ease of use. First off it seemed like the solution comes out more even instead of all of the solution shot in the middle while overspraying out in a circle. Also, seemed like my glass towels weren't getting "stuck" on the glass, they smoothly glided across it. Like I said, I won't know what it looks like until tomorrow morning in the sun, but at least the compressed can made it easier to potentially look like an idiot later. |

Engine light went on again and the engine died before the cold start finished. Hopefully it would be easy to figure it out, I pretty much went through the list of "common" problems since 20k of ownership...

Its purpose is more that click/spring you feel which unselects a turn signal. |

The wiring for the paddle shifters must have worn out within the ribbon cable of the clock spring or one of the connectors did...replaced it, issue fixed. Shifting still worked with the stick and in D mode. |

Okay, believe whatever you want. I wasn’t trying to argue or convince you of anything - you asked the Q. If you don’t believe it, you can google “car clock spring” for yourself. Or you can continue to believe that it’s purpose is to spring the turn signals stalk, all good.
