Looking for a shop in NYC for in-depth diagnostic

Most of these NYC shops do regular repairs ex: oil pan, valve cover, plugs coils etc which I have done on my own. I need someone who can do in-depth diagnosis potentially chasing down wiring, grounds or DME. Give recommendations based on what you have gotten done previously.

I would recommend AutoCouture in Fair Lawn, NJ for that. I know, not quite NYC. My 2nd choice would be Motorcepts in Richmond Hill, Queens.

TyrolSport in Ridgewood/Bushwick. I've been going there for well over ten years. They're a great group of people.

Definitely take it to AutoCouture Motoring.

The Radburn NJ transit station drops you off right at their shop, its easy to go there and commute back to NYC. They would handle it no problem, they have bmw trained techs on staff. They have maintained my car for 7 years....

I would call Jackie at king's automotive in Bloomingdale, nj. He is a master of his craft and will take care of you. He did a bunch of maintenance and got it done quickly and the service was great.

Needed valve cover gaskets and he saw the vanos covered were warped, he waited till I could source the slon covers and threw them in for added insurance!

M-Chanics in Mineola, Long Island was able to finally solve the mysterious issues I've been battling for the last several months with increased emissions codes and sporadic misfiring. This was after a couple other reputable shops couldn't figure it out. George took the time to follow leads and get to the root of the problem rather than just reading codes and throwing parts at the car, like a lot of other shops. I'd highly recommend giving them a try for tough troubleshooting.

Motorcepts. The owners there are all true motorheads and have meticulous attention to detail.

Motorcepts in Queens. They are the best have been using them 10+ years on all m3 from e36,46,92
