A funny story
I pulled into my dealership this afternoon to pick up my M3 after I had the performance exhaust installed. As I parked I notice a blue "M3" parked near the entrance. I was surprised that I had never seen an M3 like this one before, single exhaust with dual tips, 16 inch wheels, standard, older 3 series front end.. I have to admit I was stumped. About that time a guy walks out, gets in it and drives off. At the same time my SA walks out and he looked at my puzzled face, smiles, and says, "it is a 2001 328 with an M3 badge"...
I should have seen it right away.. just never dawned on me that someone would actually put an M3 badge on anything other than an M3.. |

You see that a lot here in Miami. Sone don't even change the bumpers..they leave a 2000 323ci stock and put m3 badges.

This should be punishable by being forced to drive a Yugo for a month.
That being said, I bought the ///M rim stickers and stuck them on the side sole of my sneakers........ I can barely keep up with my feet these days. (j/k)

I've seen a couple civics that have full body kits and whatnot and the owners put BMW roundels on it....

Unfortunately this is a very common occurrence from fake BMW Roudels, M, AMG, GTR, and I've even seen a Porsche crest on a KIA!!I never understand this, sure they may fool some but when you pull up next to the people in the real thing they never want to have any fun just slouch in their seat

it's kind of common lol whenever my 328 people would want me to get M3 badges for them, I'd tell them no

I liked it a lot, I just wish they'd come off the price a bit. Not sure what you got yours for, but I was quoted $4700 at my dealer. Don't believe that included install either. Haven't been able to bring myself to take that kinda plunge yet.

If I had a 328i I would put a 329i badge on my car.
This way I can still thumb my nose at all the lowly 328i owners, but not step on 330i, 335i and M3 owners toes. |

but if it's just a M badge, and not a M3 badge, then it's okay as long as they have mtech
that's how it is in some countries straight from bmw
