Private inspection station NJ

Anywhere in NJ (bergen/passaic) I can get my car inspected without someone else driving it? I don't want to bring it to the state run station for the same reasons I don't valet park.

In the state stations I've been to they literally pull your car forward in a straight line 20ft max and you are stood right there. Agree on valet parking, once the car is out of your site you never know whats going to happen to it! Theres some funny vids on Youtube on the VinWiki channel (great channel btw) where valet parking owners talk about their biggest fails etc.

Makes sense. Im just asking because my car is 6MT and from past experience, someone always has to start revving in neutral.

Just a quick story with my last e92. Went to Capital Grille for dinner one night. Valet my car thinking nothing of it. Get it back and realize a massive clunking. Diff bolts sheared off. Trust no one.

I've had the same experience as Montaver. I always go to Paramus with my cars, and these people all know how to drive stick. Most times, my car is low so they put me in the lane that has the most clearance, and have me ride along 100% of the time in the passenger seat. I then re-enter the drivers seat at the end once the new sticker is on, and drive off. I've never had any issues.

Maybe ill give it a try. I also don't want to wait hours at an inspection station. Hence why I asked about private because it should be in and out.

+1 for Paramus. I took my car there (also 6MT) and the dude was cool as hell. I just stayed in the passenger seat the whole time. once he was done i got in the drivers seat and was out. Took a total of 10 mins. I went on my lunch break.
