If someone is buying this to gain horses it's the wrong idea. This is to have the CSL BMW never built.

Ahh - Yeah I've never been too keen on E46s so I don't have much knowledge of the CSL. So the point is looks, sound, and weight loss?

Such a beautiful piece. I doubt group buy would lower it more than its 2800 price. Too much for me to spend on an intake that I won't hear due to straight pipes lol. If you ever come by a spare I'll take it off your hands for free.99.

Bingo. My S54 with Evolve's box would literally give me chills. I let all my car buddies have their way with that car simply bc it was such an incredible noise - I couldn't let them miss it.

My favorite thing someone said was that they felt like you could play it like an instrument connected to your foot. At different RPMs and throttle angles, it made different tunes. But then you'd give in and stomp the pedal and it'd just wail to redline.

Can only imagine with the S65.

Consider the work that goes into laying each one of these up. People who haven't worked with composites before probably don't understand how tedious it is. That doesn't include the tons of R&D they have in CAD work and tuning. Props to them for their commitment to such a limited market item. IMO the 2800 is already a very fair price for what you're getting, HP gains aside...

That’s what I was thinking too. Assuming it’s not a tuning boondoggle that kneecaps response or power for some reason it’s rad as hell.

I’m in for the group buy, as long as it doesn’t lose power over stock. Price wise I think it is fair considering how much the Dinan and eventuri cost.
