2011 BMW M3 Coupe’ Alpine White w/ Black Leather Interior – Competition Package, Cold Weather Package, Technology Package, Premium Package – Carbon Roof - 75k miles - DCT

The car is in absolutely immaculate condition! I am extraordinarily OCD about my cars and have made sure that everything looks perfect. The car runs and drives exactly as it should, and still gives the V8 power that everyone loves about the E92 M3! It is a blast to drive and turns heads everywhere that it goes, from driving around town or going to car shows – everyone loves it! I am only selling the car due to a new position at work that requires much more driving, so I need to get something that I can travel in a bit more.

It has zero mechanical or cosmetic flaws. The oil has been changed every 5k miles, it has brand new tires on the back, and passed state inspection about 1 month ago. In terms of cosmetics – the car was professionally polished and sealed by a local high-end detailer. I hand wash the car myself once a week, it has never been through an automatic wash! (No swirl marks or any other paint issues). There are also no door dings or anything of that nature. The wheels are in 100% perfect condition, zero curb rash or defect. The interior of the car is also excellent! The leather has recently been cleaned/conditioned.

Lastly, the car does have a few tasteful modifications to really finish off the sporty look of the M car! I have listed the part and cost of each before installation. Everything listed is in addition to the 4 factory packages on the car (It is completely optioned out).

Price Reduction! I have found a car I would want to purchase, so if the M3 is not purchased soon, it will be sold to a dealership.

I haven't looked up the MMR yet, but $31.5k seems really high for a 2011 M3 with 75k miles.

I think you should price it $2k more than whatever the trade in value is....You benefit and the person buying your car benefits. You make an extra $2k, the other guy saves $2k vs. buying it from the dealer. Everyone is happy. GLWS.

Hey, thanks for the reply! This is actually on point with what you described in terms of my price vs what dealer trade in value is. 31.5k is on par with pricing from a private seller. I appreciate your input though! Again, I am willing to hear offers - pricing is negotiable. Thanks

31.5 if $2000 above is not worth it for seller. Because he has tax credit ( unless he just want get rid of the car without trade in) .Why bother selling private?

Hey there, thanks again for the message. I’m not going to totally reveal what my offer from the dealership is, but I will say that I’m within 8% of it with my current asking price. The car is pristine and much nicer than any E92 I’ve seen, even with less miles. But I appreciate the input again!

No, as I mentioned in my previous post I was offered within 8% of what of $31.5k. Mathematically speaking, 8% off of $31.5k is not 25k. That is the honest truth as well. I am looking to sell the car privately because I am not looking to buy another vehicle, so that tax break won't apply to me.

I'm legit surprised this hasn't moved. The price is slightly high-ish but definitely not unreasonable given the condition and white ZCP's with all the packages don't hang on trees. I'd much rather pay a few grand more and know all the history and have the comfort of buying the car from someone that has obviously cared for it.

Seems a shame if this went to the dealer. GL

its actually a very reasonable price. especially considering the options and mods. would gladly pay it if i was in the market for a dct

Actually you're pretty close. 30 day Manheim MMR is $24,600. This is how much this vehicle would fetch at auction and thus is how much dealer would value the trade in.

OP claims dealer offered 31,500 - 8%, which is $28,980. Either OP is lying or OP is getting ripped off on the vehicle he is purchasing. That's why they are giving him $28,980 on the trade in. They jack up the price of the vehicle he is buying from them or they jack up the financing rate.

BTW, the $24,600 MMR (AKA trade in value) is already adjusted for mileage (75k), location (NC), Condition (4.5/5), and color (white).

OP, I don't mean to crap on your thread but if a dealer really offered you $28k for your vehicle, you should jump on that ASAP. But just make sure the car you're buying from them isn't overpriced.

Car is sold! And to answer all of you, I did not purchase another car from the dealership, sold it out right to them - 8% off my price, just like I had said Hate that I had to sell it to the dealership, would have been a great deal for someone here!

Congratz. Which dealership did you sell it to? I'm curious to see what that dealer list the car for now.
