I got an 11 m3 ZCP bone stock 1 owner 34000 miles for $34500. I bought it private sale for that price but that was the exact price he got offered for trade in to the BMW dealer it was bought at new. I saw the paperwork.
That was about 6 months ago so I would say you should be at or just below 37k trade. At least 36k. |

Yeah MSRP was 49k they took a measly thousand dollars off ... since The mustang was marked up So high they showed a lot for my trade, trying to make it look like they’re giving me all the money when in reality I’m just over paying for their Mustang and they’re giving me average money for my trade . If you go to the Ford website you can build one for well over $50,000. Carbon fiber interior panels and Alcantara seats are a nice upgrade over the standard leather and aluminum interior stuff. |

If you ever want to look at another GT look down here in Georgia. They are 4k off on the dealer sites. So even with shipping you would probably save thousands but would have to sell your car private. |

I really believe you should test drive a GT with mag ride and all of the goodies before you plink down the extra 10 K for a GT 350.The valved exhaust on the GT’s is a great integrated feature

Have you seen the latest Motortrend H2H with the 18 GT with performance pack vs SS 1LE? The GT didn’t fare very well on the track.

But, the Mustang was 3.7 seconds faster (1:23.97 vs 1:27.67) versus a 2011 e92 ZCP on the same track/driver. That SS 1LE is very impressive. |

For me the main determination between Mustang GT/GT350 and the M3 was actually the DCT. I love DCT and it makes it possible for my wife to drive it when needed also.

When I test drove GT350 I still had my M4 and it didnt feel big at all. But when I got back into an E92 the first thing I noticed was how small it felt compared to the M4. So my point is big is a problem with the newer cars.

One thing that doesn't come up in these comparison's is that that OEM tire width on the M3 is narrower than the Mustang so along with being down on power, it also has less tire available... it should be no surprise that the Mustang is faster.
The 1LE runs 305s up front and 325s rear... not surprising it beats the Mustang.

Can't compare a test that was done on different tire technology as well as 7 years ago. That test with the E92 ZCP was done with a Contisportcontact 3, while the Mustang was on Mich P4S. The Conti is a terrible tire by today's standards.

Also, anyone who has driven a E9X M3 with 275/295 tire setup with 19X10 and 19X11 will tell you on how the car seems to have unlimited grip, really transformed the car. Dave

These are all exciting cars to drive and the whole reason i started this thread is because i felt specifically the "new" 2018 mustang GT's are a great upgrade over previous years.... and i was interested to see what other people though of them if they had a chance to actually drive one. But hardly anyone has ( on this site ) as of yet. Oh well. |

With the PP2, the Mustang GT gets 305 Cup2's on all 4 corners and revised dampers to best utilize them, which MT claims reduce the track time by 2.5-3.0 sec. Still a little bit off the SS 1LE time.

Choose the car you love.
At most track days, I can get point-bys by Z06's ILEs, GT3s... whatever. And I have to give a few out to Miatas and a 79 Celica with a Lexus v8 on Hoosier A7s. Even for the track, choose the car you love. On the track, an S65 behind a DCT is REALLY easy to love. |

All they have done is matched the basic wheel/tire setup of the 1LE withouot doing much to address the Camaro's superior overall chassis other than throw a stickier tire at it. I think it'll still be significantly slower than an SS 1LE on the same tires, but the 1LE doesn't get a DOT-R.
But still, 10.5's and 11's with 305's all around, with mandatory manual just like the Chevy, is pretty rad. Merica. It's still a lot of performance car for $46k (base GT with recaros and PP2), and the SS1LE is right on top of it MSRP-wise.
