Nice job man. Those Lux scare me - it looks like the outer ring isn't lit at all. Nothing like the pics they advertise. Is it like that in person? Or was it just the angle?

Most likely the angle. Many have commented on how nice they are. Best to check around or see them in person. They're defined an upgrade from OEM.

With that being said the outer rings will never be as bright as the inner rings because the bulb is situated inside the headlight closest to the inner ring and then the light is dispersed through the AE "tubes" to the outer rings, I hope that makes sense. The only way to get them equally as bright is to actually remove the stock AEs and install aftermarket LED ones. Here is a pic from different angle that I snapped quickly for you (again shi*ty phone camera but you get the idea) : |

And I will tell you, the newest LUX reps are even brighter than the previous generation LUX I had for pretty much half the price. But that being said, LUX is still a very solid choice. |

Thanks for the great words. As mentioned above too, the angle of the picture is what makes the outer rings not illuminated. The shape of the outer rings make them appear clear if you look at them too close, regardless of what bulbs you are using. But when you step back from the car or just move a bit they will appear fully illuminated

The eisenmann sport with challenge sport x pipe is my all time favorite combo.
Anyone know what happened to challenge? Heard they were coming back. |

Great thread. That car deserved better than when you got it. Very pleased to see that you are getting her back into fighting shape. Interior looks fantastic.

Thanks! It was my first choice based on all the reviews and got lucky to be able to find both sport and race versions for sale locally, decided to go with sport to keep down the drone.
Car already has motorsport24 headers and next purchase is going to be MS track pipes and stage 2 intake - so she gonna be purring |

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ac...utyl-glue.html Super easy to use and works great. No real issues, very very minor condensation when it rains heavily but I'm pretty sure this is due to the headlight cap on driver side headlight not sealing properly, just going to replace it. |

Small update - diffuser
I cheaped out and got an Ebay diffuser:
Fitment isn't great, quality is decent - not carbon fiber all the way through it's black plastic coated with carbon fiber. Fitment (not installed just held up to rear bumper to get an idea of what I was working with. Also it was sitting a little lower than it should in those pics): Was thinking about sending it back but in all honesty I'm not going to get much better quality from other replicas for the price and I'm not willing to spend $1000+ for authentic. So going to bust out the dremel and sand paper and take my time to get this thing to fit the best I can after I get the exhaust on. |

Apparently my friends and I like to reverse park on driveways so ended up snapping this quick pic:
