Powdercoating Shops in GTA

Any recommendation for a good powdercoating shop in GTA, preferably in the Markham/Richmond Hill area.

Union Rim Repair is the best powder coating shop I've found for wheels, and I've been around wheel refinishing services in the GTA for over a decade. Their work and service is outstanding.

I had mixed feeling about Leprechaun when I went to get two wheels refinished last summer, and Union nailed it

It's on their website. Better yet, call them and ask?

I used union rim repair to refinish my zcp wheels last spring, however this season the finish started peeling on 2 of the wheels.

They made it right by refinishing all 4 wheels free of charge. I can definitely agree that their customer service is superb, however I'm still on the fence about workmanship.

That's a first. I've seen dozens of sets done by them and never seen or had a single issue, even with the notoriously difficult chrome shadow finish on M5 wheels.

While it's unfortunate that it peeled, it speaks volumes about their service that they refinished it without hesitation. Most shops like to give the run around with wheel repairs... I would be surprised if you have this problem again.

Jon mentioned that they were using a different chemical last year and that they had a few issues.

Again, I was impressed when they didn't even hesitate when offering to make things right(so much so I bought a set of tires from them to go on the freshly refinished wheels).

Their customer service is exceptional and I would definitely give them my business again. Since OP asked for a shop in the richmond hill area I suggested leprecon, they were in the same ballpark as union rim pricewise but the overwhelming positive feedback on union rim made the choice easier.

Yeah the fact they've been around forever with maybe a handful of subpar experiences sold me on them. Consistently delivering on their word is probably why they're still successfully in business. And the fact they always meet and usually beat their turn around time is amazing. I've had so many wheel/paint shops constantly fail to meet delivery times that it's become the norm in the industry, yet Union remains the exception.

Either way, we are lucky to have some reputable options in this city.

Thanks all for the responses.

Thanks xander_g for recommending Leprecon as I did asked for Richmond Hlll area.

It appears that Union Rim Repair are the recommended. I'll give them a shout as they don't seem to far.

Leprecon did a set of wheels for me this summer, service was great, quality workmanship, was very happy with them.

Bumping this thread for some long-term feedback.

Can someone provide their feedback on how their wheels finish is holding up (Leprecon or Union)?

I'm debating if I should attempt to refinish my 220M set (clear coat is failing) or just pick up a clean used set instead...

Thanks

Two sets of refinished wheels from Union still going strong after many years and miles. One is daily driven. Zero issues.
