Condensation can be okay in that it won't damage the lights, but they don't need to fog up just because they are vented. Many cars never experience condensation, and mine, prior to the rebuild, wouldn't dry out for a couple of days. They looked broken, even if they weren't.
I guess the concern with buying new headlights is that while the chance is low, it's possible they fog up the same way. There are threads on this topic dating back to when these cars were new.

I wonder if FCP euro will warranty headlights if they fog up.. $711 for a headlight. Not terrible.

Not as bad as I expected. Worth an email to confirm, since I understand that would be more generous than BMW's warranty on them.
FWIW I paid less than 2x that for BayOptics to do my headlights, which included an upgraded ZKW projector lens, Osram CBI bulbs, fresh lenses/covers, and new sealant. They look brand new and perform far better. Even with the price of shipping, I'd consider this over fresh OEs.

The Osram bulbs are a MUST, i did them on my e46 and it was worth it.. I planned on upgrading these as well.

Really just enjoying driving this right now.. Front feels great with the hotchkis sway bar and new SPL endlinks (prior one were too long)

Also loving the RT660.. tremendous amount of grip!

Thank you!

Yes, correct in the sizes. I’m also running a 10mm rear spacer and a 5mm upfront to clear the spring perch. I could go with a smaller spring but these feel really good.

Currently running the Ohlins Dedicated Track set. Different struts/shocks from the R&T kit and vorshlag camber plates and linear springs/higher rates.

Potentially doing Monticello with a buddy who’s a member at some time next month and then going to good ol’ NYST at the end of June. Buddy of mine rented the track on 6/30 so plenty of track time.

Pm me if you’re interested in joining at NYST!

FINALLY!!!

T45 bar from Pinnacle installed, Recaro SPG XL installed on BK Floor Mounts and Red Schroth 4pt Pro-fi 2 ASM harnesses (mostly installed)... Just waiting on the rollbar collars to come in from Rennscot and she'll be all set.

Also trying to figure out a solution for a rear seat delete..

Let me start by saying the welds on the Pinnacle bar are great!!! This thing is super lightweight and fit perfect. I opted for the 2 piece kit from him to save money in shipping but also for ease of install.

The Seats were a B*Tch! I decided I wanted to bolt them to the floor without sliders to maximize headroom and man, what a PAIN!!..Really needed to strategize the whole process from getting the floor bolts in, to tightening the bolts that go into the seat.

Once they were in, I couldn't be happier.. I achieved the seating position I wanted and I love it!

Here's a few photos of the process. Lucky enough to have my dad lend a hand and also my almost 3 year old daughter, who loves this car! She bugged my wife and I all day to work on the car when I got home from work. lol

My dad helping to tighten some bolts

my little one "pretending" to fix daddy's race car LOL.

[

Only threw one harness in for now to see how it looks.

Unfortunately, I sold them... kinda regretting it now with how much BBS raised the prices.

I was crossing my fingers hoping maybe you still had them and might consider selling…lol. Still love the current set-up! These price increases are getting a little ridiculous…I should seriously consider investing in high end car parts and reselling a year or 2 later.

Harnesses completely mounted up... Purchased these from Rennscot instead of using zipties.. Little expensive but they look cool

Finally had the chance to install the mjunkee armrest.. It looks and feels soo much better.

Now, I'm just trying to decide on a BBK.. Was leaning toward the Stoptech st60/s40 but they're pretty much sold out everywhere and people want top dollar for used sets..

July 2023 update..

Last month I purchased a Stoptech ST40 kit all around.. I needed to upgrade the brakes and was able to get a good deal on some ST40s.. i know, they're not the ideal ST60s that everyone usually runs, but I figured with the 40s, I won't have any issues with wheel fitment, plus cheaper pads and lighter weight!

Needless to say, I'm super happy with them, they performed perfectly on track this past weekend! Anything more is truly overkill.

Some feedback from the track day-

Car ran and felt amazing!! These RT660 tires are great and the level of grip they offer is on a different level!

The only issue I ran into was the car was running a little hot, creeping up to the 3rd dot on the temp after about 3-4 laps so I'll be ordering the DO88 coolers and rad soon!

Also, a wing is needed! It would have helped big time.. GT4 is the plan.
