Out of curiosity why would you have this motor built like this and not track it? Sounds strange to me.... just sayin....

Hi sorry for the late reply,
I can understand your curiosity. I bought the car from the person who built it and he "claims" that it was never tracked. I course I have no way to know for sure. The ECU didn't show any red line shifts when I had it PPI'ed though. I bought it because I wanted a sweet street ride to go along with my GT3 which is my dedicated track car. The M3 is just too heavy for the track especially being a hardtop convertible. Never had any reason to track it because of that. |

Free bump for a great car - however the BMW warranty you mention is not worth much - take this car into a BMW garage with any engine or drivetrain issues and see what they say........

Agreed. The engine is currently covered by RD Sport's warranty. I've taken the car to BMW however for maintainance and other small things and there was no problem with BMW.
