Lets see the rear, from a standing position at about 20-30 feet please!?!?!

My main interest in a system is to remove the ugliness of the stock exhaust, showing so plainly.

I can confirm. The Sport version sounds very low and deep (compared to the stock). I can't imagine how could sound the Race one, if the Sport is working already so good.Probably too much for me. I have made many many videos. I will put one soon comparing time by time the stock and the new at : switch on of the car when she is cold (more noisy like you know), revving at different rpm, and strong accelleration whit a microphone installed near the exaust.
Anyway....TOTALLY another sound, and so I would say, another CAR!
Also interesting (if Nate can confirm I will be more happy), when you select the Sport setting for the engine, the sounds change a little. it seems that the valves actuaded from this setting can add some sound also to the exhaust. I know that this is not wanted and studied by Eisenmann and simply a casuality, but I would say nice combination !!
Last thing: when for the first time you will ear the new exaust on your car you immediately will notice a different sound coming from airbox. More aggressive.

So let me say: definitively a good choice.
Thanks Eisenmann.....

Congrats on the new Eisenmann Sport Performance. I can't wait to hear your new videos. I have also noticed a small change in the exhaust note when activating the Sport settings

I made my best...I was not able to register exactly the deep sound of the Sport version. My microphone is not enought good.. Anyway here you will have an idea of the differences. Only an idea, since the reality is really much more satisfying...

For example the accelleration with the microphone near the exaust created a lot of distorsion when I registered it with the Eisenmann installed..and I didn't put it into the clip.

Also the distorsion starting at minute 3:21 is not real....

Anyway, very deep sound. enought for me.

Thank you so much!!!! My order is placed and now for the long wait.

Wait, i'm confused, the sound from 4:53 on in the clip on is "Stock, as Eisenmann was too loud" per your note at the end? Am I mistaken. If it is, stock sounds great and I can only imagine what the same vid with Eisenmann would sound like.

Yes you are right...the sound is from the stock one and it is really great. The Eisenmann is simply much better
I made the mistake during the registration not to calibrate the microphone...and so I registered the sound (much deeper) and I got lots of distorsion compared to the stock exhaust note. I hadn't the time to make another registration since I discovered the problem only at home playing the video on my computer....

Got mine, too, and it also goes on tomorrow. The quality looks very good. It was well-packed. I weighed it as 46.5#. I will weigh the stock when removed.

Yea! It was well very well packaged I'm interested to know how much the OEM muffler weighs. Looking forward to your post.

Eisenmann Sport Performance installed

Exhaust is on. Had it installed by Pacific Motorsports in Portland. They thought the supplied clamps were a little whimpy, so they welded on the removed stock tailpipes.

I've only driven 1/2 hour so far, but I must say the sound is absolutely PERFECT to my ears, just as Nate at IND described. Much throatier, but not obnoxiously loud. The scale and appearance of the tips is very good, as well.

I'll post pics and weight comparisons tomorrow. I don't have video capability currently, but will see what I can do.

This is good to hear with the exception of the "whimpy" clamps you mentioned.

Greg- Can you please post pic's of the clamps you are describing? And what do mean by the welded on the stock pipes?

Nate- Can you please chime in regards to the inferior part that Greg is describing?

Hopefully, if there is an issue, I can have this sorted out prior to the delivery of mine.

Thank you both.

Dave
Perhaps the term "whimpy" is not appropriate--sorry. I did not actually unwrap and look at the clamps, nor did I get them back when I picked up the car--they seemed quite heavy and robust. I think what the installer meant is they thought the installation would be more secure with the pipes welded.

7/12 Edit: This is what my in installation invoice says: "Found that Eisenmann's clamps would leak and not provide for adequate fitment. Welded the exhaust on."

To explain, the stock rear tailpipe section on each side is reused with the new muffler. Since they are welded to the original muffler, they must be cut off, and then attached to the Eisenmann with clamps or by welding. I have some pics of this at home that IND supplied I will post.
