Error code, need help

Hi all,

So it has been cold lately, 20's and 30's - and my 2011 has got the engine malfunction, reduced power output error. The car basically goes into limp mode and will not go over 30 mph. This happens when I get on the throttle, even remotely hard. It was quite warm the other day and the car ran perfectly, no problems!

I took it to Autozone and they scanned the code P1029. I did some research and couldn't come up with a clear fix for this. Does anyone know the issue? I did see one post where someone stated this error was caused by brake fluid leaking into the brake booster vacuum sensor and damaged it. Funny thing is, I just had my front rotors and pads replaced and never had this issue before doing that. Is this causing the problem?
