(KW) ST XTA coilover for E92 M3 - any reviews ?
Hey
Anyone of you got a ST XTA coilover for his M3 ? Would you recommend it ? Hard to find some reviews of that suspension in a M3. Im about to buy one of this but Im unsure if this is the right for a M3 and a good Alternative to the KW's. I know ST is a sisterfirm of KW so i believe it could be a try worth.. |

we've using xta on our 135 tracktool, few e9x and on some opels.
works really great for their money. kw v2 absorbers with linear springs + helpers, and same adjustable top mounts (very high quality), as on kw clubsport. |

Dual purpose car, street tires, advanced tires but not a lot of experience in adjusting suspension. |

we've using it on dual purpose cars with hankook rs3, square setup, 275/275. in first you adjust ride height and then you have only one adjustment- rebound. on most of our cars with xta its 1-2 clicks before max, all time from installation. with top mounts in this kit you can make something about 3-3.5 degrees of camber. |

What is the difference between the ST XTA and the KW V1? I know the KWs are stainless steel, but are they essentially the same kit?

Are they a benefit to the M3 suspension? |

XTA I believe has an adjustable dampening setting which the V1's dont. I would say its closer to a V2 but with a metric coil over spring.

Depending on wheel/tire and other mechanical changes you can dial In more camber at the front than what you can get from having a standard style upper front shock mount.
