There's purpose in everything on that car - except the wheels. I'm just a hater because I'm an ain'ter (interview reference).

Have you heard one with an M performance exhaust? I feel like you might change your mind.

Yes and while I agree it is better than stock it still reminds me of a Honda Civic fart can circa 1993.

Tee hee!

The wheels are hideous. Anathema to the "understated" model BMW used to attain success in years gone by.

I love that movie.

But yeah, the understated stuff is gone - but I can understand why with the GTS model. It's not like the CSL of E46 days. This car is supposed to be a streetable track car.

Of course you won't *hear* anyone complaining it's an Internet forum..... Derp.

Also I think it's fine to say those wheels look cheesy. Who cares if it's a concept, they suck.

Gotta appeal to the larger car buying audience... you know, all those responsible for making F&F 26 possible in movie theaters.

love the e92 GTS. This F82 GTS just doesnt look right. Feels like some aero on a random car. Hate those wheels. You can see from some pics its on stock suspension.

i really like the hood and front splitter. i wish the wheels were less busy, but they aren't terrible. at least they are fairly minimal for what they are. meth injection is interesting. wing isn't terrible either. if the wing is going to be there, i don't think it looks that bad.

Meh. Thought the last GTS was pretty meh too. CRT was a much better executed concept IMO, show me how you can make the car better without making it worse. No rear seats? "Cage" that isn't even a real cage? You've lost me I have no idea what that's supposed to be. At least the GT4 made sense as a turnkey racecar with decent factory support. The GTS missed the point of an M3 entirely IMO and I'm glad it wasn't sold here. In 2011 chevy would sell you an LS3 corvette for half the money that outperformed it in every way and had just as many seats. Hopefully M4 version isn't so pointless.

Those people are also ensuring studios are flush with enough cash to make the smaller and less-profitable films, too. The F&F movies are really just heist films these days, and they're not too bad if you just know how to manage your own expectations going into it. I don't see F&F films expecting a "best picture" nominee, I see it for crazy stunts and some laughs.

Obviously this car is a concept so there is some expectation of extravagance or absurdity. I'll reserve final judgment until the production version is revealed.

I saw the m4 gts in person and as underwhelming as it was in person I remain hopeful.

Remember the CRT concept?

Vs production - 4.4L, honecomb hood, unique aero, bbk, titanium exhaust and that amazing interior.

Yeah! But as you can see? They didn't change the wheels! And that's what the majority are complaining about.
But i would love to see them make another CRT?! But not with that wheel style.
