OEM Exhaust Mod + Test Pipes

Hey guys,
I'm planning on deleting my primary cats and was curious what this would sound like with the OEM exhaust mod. Anyone done this? Thanks!

I have heard it and to me it is very loud, which loses the unique sound the engine makes and is known for. It basically becomes an assault to the ear drums and I have a Remus Race which isn't quiet either.

Do you have HFC with your Remus race? I have tried with secondary cat delete + sosi Xpipe but it was ridiculous loud.

No, I just have the exhaust and don't plan on going any louder. My family knows I'm coming over three blocks away on a quiet night.

I think I'm just going to go for it! Worst thing that happens is I don't like it and just get another set of oem mufflers.

When we say extremely loud... does that mean deep loud? raspy loud? I have the full RPI GTM system and i sold my car for a e90... and if it compares to that it would be pretty loud but i would not think it would be as loud as a full GTM.

No cats, no muffler. Humm almost a straight through pipe with a resonator. I'm down for a video. Do it.

If you like bat shit loud exhausts, you'll be fine. "Loud" is quite subjective, especially a tasteful "Loud" that you believe represents the M3 properly. To your point, just try it, and switch back after if you'll can't stand it. Worst case, remove Test Pipes and keep the OEM Exhaust Mod.

What about not modifying the back box but just removing the primary cats?

How does that sound?
