Official BBS CH-R Picture and wheel data thread!
The BBS CH-R is a wheel that is new to the market as of late 2009. This wheel programs goal was to bring a great quality race design cast wheel to the market at a good weight, and great price. The wheel features a classic design inspired by their forged professional motorsports wheel line. One of the touches that may often go unnoticed is the side milling of the spokes. this helps shed great amounts of weight, without sacrificing the strength of the wheel, which is one of BBS's greatest claims to fame. The brands reputation for reliability, strength, and racing R&D are what keeps them at the top.
In late 2009 BBS launced the 20in CH-R in silver and black finishes. Both wore the polished stainless steel band which not only adds a nice finishing touch to the wheel, but can also save you from ruining your wheels on the street from the accidental curb rash or 2 as these bands are replaceable. Summer 2010 brought us the 19in CH-R for those that wanted a little less weight and great performance tire selection for their car. The great weight, strength, and race design has quickly made the 19in sizes a BMW classic. Now that you know a little background on the wheels, here are some of the wheels specs and wheel face profiles. This data is not normally released in CAD data format like this, but BBS sent this over at our request so you guys can see the wheels construction and face designs with ease. Great looking wheel, but just too FAT.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

BEAUTIFUL wheels! I had the old CH on my E90 and absolutely loved them! Still my favorite wheels on BMW ever.
