4th Annual Tail of The Dragon Run!!!!!

Well we are doing it again this year!!!! This will be the 4th year doing the dragon run, Dates for the run will be November 20th thru 23rd 2020. We will drive on the 21st and the 22nd. I have an excellent route mapped out this year for the Saturday drive. There will also be an awesome event on Saturday night as long as the weather permits, details on it will be revealed on Saturday after our drive! Sunday will be a driving the dragon day and a few other roads around. I know some folks will need to head home Sunday so the main big drive will be on Saturday! We will also have some items to raffle off on Saturday and T-shirts will be available. I recommend the Historic Tapaco lodge to stay at. I will see if I can get us some discounted rooms. I will post as soon as I get confirmation on a discount there. As we get closer to the date I will continue to add more info to this post. I will start a list of drivers and cars for all who would like to join. please pm me if you want to attend and I will add you to the list. I am hoping we get a large turn out this year, I would love to see 30+ M cars!!! And even if you don't have an M car we still would love for anyone to join!

We only have 10 rooms/cabins currently available. Some of the cabins can sleep 2-4 adults. Some may want to split a cabin and stay together, etc. Our group is listed under “M3Post” please book your room as soon as possible if you are coming as the rooms will fill quickly!

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS WHEN BOOKING YOUR ROOM AT HISTORIC TAPOCO LODGE.

1) visit www.tapoco.com
2) click on “reservations”
3) enter your arrival and departure date and the number of adults and children staying in the room.
4) enter the access code of: M3112020
5) review and select your preferred room
6) include each guest name staying in the selected room
7) NOTE the $100 deposit and the 30 day cancellation policy
8) complete the remaining reservation steps

The meeting spot on 11/20/2020 Saturday morning will be at “the hub” restaurant in robbinsville, they should be open for breakfast! We will leave out by 9:30am for our drive!
Also we will be using 2-way radios to communicate during our drive. These can be picked up from amazon, Walmart, target, etc for pretty cheap. We will be on channel 6. Some of us will have some extra radios if anyone forgets theirs and needs to borrow one.

Ugh just realizing I have a wedding this same weekend. Crossing my fingers it gets pushed back. Already looked in to renting an auto trailer to get up there.

Ok guys, I will have a discount code First of the week, for group rates at the historic topacco lodge. I will add the code to the original post by Wednesday next week so everyone can start booking rooms for the 4th Annual Dragon Run! Also we have shirts in the works (My company is covering the cost) and will be available FREE to everyone that shows up for the event!!!!
