I think fsmtnbiker just picked up a set. I have driven on them on a different car and think they are great but haven't bought any for my M3 yet. They are a Bridgestone clone at a cheaper price and don't overheat as easily

I really liked the RS4 on my Evo. Good turn in, lots of grip, wear really really well. Even good in the wet when they have decent tread depth. Very vocal when pushed, I will say that, loudest tire I've ever used. Haven't ran them on the M.

Can't comment on the 660. Has TR tested them yet?

I guess the only advantage for the rs4 is their "life".

But here comes the new challenger of bridgestone re71r, since the supplier quoted me the same price as the rt660.

What u guys think? Rt660 vs re71r?

FYI, you can still get the RS4 in 275/35/18 (and all other Hankook competition tires) from https://hankookmotorsports.com/

Seems like Hankook is moving towards this distribution model for competition tires vs regular stores like TireRack.

Re71r is being discontinued but should be comparable

I just bought a set in Oct, they were made in late 2019 IIRC.

Not yet, I'm leaning towards ordering a 295/315 staggered set. 285 should work too though, these tires run wide. The big 18' sizing JUST came in so not much data to report yet

GTR's and Mustangs and Camaros on 18" setups

We're outnumbered, especially at the 200tw silly modded car events

I just ordered a set in 275/35/18 square from my local tire store. $1060 installed with tax. I couldn't pass up that price...

Hopefully I'll get out to Buttonwillow next month to give them a solid run.

I ended up getting these for $1k installed otd because I was putting tires on our x5 at the same time.

They run a little wide about .5 inches wider than a Hoosier r7 in the same size. I went with 275/35/18 square on apex ec7rs in 18x10.5 with et22. It is a tight fit front and rear but it just clears. Honestly I am surprised how tight the rear is.

You can see how they compare to michelin p4s’, they’re wider even though the Michelin’s are 285/35/18 and also mounted on a 10.5 inch wide wheel

Let us know how the compare to what ever you had before at Buttonewillow.
Thanks for the pics!
