18" vs. 19"

Wow, those ARC-8's do seem like a great deal!

Edit: does anyone run a size other than 275/35 on ARC-8's?

Edit: there's a whole thread on tracking PSS here: PSS on the track-can it handle heat?

I had the RE-11's on my A4. They're incredibly sticky, compared to the Toyo T1R's I had previously. Almost like R Compound, some people say. I actually felt more confidence with the T1R's, since they were predictable and controllable at the limit. But the RE-11's are so capable that I was afraid to even explore their limitations. Tread wear rating is like 180 on the RE-11's, compared to 300 for the PSS (PS2's are 220). Gives you some idea of how they wear, but not necessarily applicable to the track.

I know a guy with an EVO X. He went from Yokohama ADVAN AD08's, I think, to PSS and didn't like them as much. That's the only direct feedback I've heard. He's never tracked the car, to my knowledge.
