The 360 doesn't require the engine out services that plagued the 348 and F355, so it isn't really that bad.

An annual each a year and timing belt replacement every 3 years is about it.

Of course, the same could be said for why you would buy one even if you had children....but I digress.

I know, right? We want a 4WD van that we can take up snowboarding, go camping, sleep in, etc. Wife wanted a Westfalia because, well, she's not responsible for repairs, maintenance, and has no concept of what life with 40 HP is like, or what it's like to hike 10 miles back to civilization because your unreliable VW left you stranded . Thankfully I got her brain re-routed to a Mitsubishi Delica. Turbo diesel, 4WD with Hi/Low, Limited Slip, room to sleep 2 plus the dogs. Should be a hoot in the snow. Plus I've always wanted a RHD vehicle.

Ha - that's pretty gnarly. I have a thing against Mitsubishi, so cannot ever buy one, though.

Man - I go snowboarding all the time and just toss snow socks on the E93 if it's bad up at the mountains.

You should get this:

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...y-4wd-minivan/

It'd be like driving a Tonka Toy plus it's also RHD.

Here is another option - it's AWD, so you should be good to go, and a wagon to boot! Room in the back to toss an air mattress too.

I am quite confident that you are the very first person in the history of the Internet to recommend a Subaru Sambar and a Ferrari FF, in the same posting!

What was your Mitsubishi experience? I find they are like Tequila. At least 90% of the population has a terrible Mitsubishi / Tequila experience story from decades ago and wont go near it to this day. Says a lot about VW reliability when my perceived BETTER option is a 30 year old, obscure, Japanese market, Mitsubishi.

Hmm. I've owned 6 VW's, including one in our current stable, and have never had a single issue with any of them. I believe that with VW, preventative maintenance is the key.

As for Mitsubishi - they build terrible cars, but that isn't the reason for my hatred. Mine relates to Pearl Harbor and the Mitsubishi Zero attack bomber that decimated the place that I lived for many years afterwards.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries built the planes that bombed Pearl.

Following the dissolution of the zaibatsu after the surrender of Japan at the end of World War II, Mitsubishi divided into three companies. Mitsubishi Nagasaki became West Japan Heavy Industries, Ltd. The Nagasaki Shipyard was renamed Mitsubishi Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd. in 1952. Mitsubishi Kobe became Central Japan Heavy Industries, Ltd. in 1950.

This was a good thing and effectively eliminated the correlation between the Mitsubishi automotive vehicles and the Mitsubishi Zero aircraft. Unfortunately, in 1964, the three independent companies from the 1950 break-up were merged again into one company under the name of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.

Hideaki Omiya is the current Chairman of MHI. He is related to Hisaya Iwasaki, one of the founding members son's and who was at the helm during the Pearl Harbor attack.

I will never spend money with them.

That's not the cockpit I sat in Friday. Radio looks stock and carpet in footwells isn't black

Text me tomorrow. Those are photos supplied by Jeremy.

They may have been older and some items were changed, but there may be an issue as well.

Just want to clarify.

The wheels are the same, yes?

Forward of the speaker, the tan carpet was black-hued. Like shoe polish rubbed off from spirited driving and shoes rubbing against the side of the outer footwell. It was present on both passenger and driver sides.

Spoke to seller - we are all good. Those photos I posted are from a couple of years ago, and the radio has a flip up touch screen that includes a back up camera, which is what you saw.

Seller has agreed to have the carpets professionally steam cleaned to remove the stains.

Are you talking about the car, or about Wede's massage?

That thought is extremely concerning to me.

If that happened....nothing short of an all consuming fire is going to fix that.

I wonder if the PPI will be able to pick that up. How thorough are those Ferrari boys?

I mean, in Smokin' Aces, Buddy Israel was able to determine the "stain" on his coat was specifically Eastern European in nature.

I hope the PPI checks for the notorious Ferrari sticky switches issue; it seems we may have found the cause!
