I feel you, but maintaining the health of a battery is important and you being lucky and even saying "usually" doesn't inspire battery confidence lol

Same, but I usually connected it every night since I rarely parked outside. Also I didn't always know the next time I was going to drive the car either.

Yep, it was a PITA parking outside when I lived with my in laws when my house was being built.

Father in law let me do whatever with my car, running extension cords wherever I needed etc., but its a real PITA when you have to run outside and its sub-20 degrees outside and you run outside, unlock the car, pop the hood and quickly connect a charger. I also would tuck it through the hood in a way that I could lock the hood because if it's outside it still has a 0.00001% someone can F with it.

I've done that a few times, I'll tuck the little block next to the valve cover then run the wire up the hood and onto the windshield. Made my life easier by connecting the comfort connects directly to the battery. If I have the car parked outside then I just put the block in the trunk and make sure my garage door as the plug prongs on the inside

LMAO. Talk about going from 0-1000... most people go OEM mod, then muffler, then test pipes, then maybe catless. If you like stock but want some volume, you'd probably enjoy test pipes and a Corsa or something similar.
I did the OEM mod and now I'm going to have test pipes added. Too loud?

I had that for 6 months or so, loved it. Not too loud in my opinion. You can keep it civil if needed. Definitely loud when you get on it, downshift, etc. But I would do it again!

Evolve emailed my tune file this morning! Then literally pulling into the driveway I got a throttle body error. Tuned the car, was able to get 2-3 pulls in then limp mode. Man what kind of luck is that?!?! Wife is not going to be very happy, prayers please fellas! LOL

Hit a pot hole and blew out a tire. Flat bed to a friends house and undercarriage ripped off during the tow. If only the morons in charge would spend the billions fixing the fucking roads instead of building some dumb ass high speed rail that nobody fucking wants and will probably never be completed anyway.

OEM ZCP wheels installed and got a break in the rain so I backed it out of the garage, washed it, and pulled it back in. Ready for the next sunny day!

It won't even be high speed rail.

Drove to the office. It snowed overnight, didn't stick to the roads anywhere but they decided to spray salt everywhere.

Got to the office and my Red Melbourne E92 looked like a Candy Cane.

Luckily there is a car wash spot like a mile from my house, so on the way home I fixed it.

Don't miss the snow and salt at all. My m3 is my daily so it was constantly covered in salt all winter and I still tried to wash it each week. It was miserable. Luckily don't have that problem anymore after moving south!

I was reparking my GF's car in our tandem spot yesterday and kind of bumped my front bumper with her rear bumper at like 1mph (too used to PDC beeps in my car). Was expecting some kind of scuff or dent, but surprisingly, there was nothing there after a solid 30 minutes inspecting the location of the hit.

Gotta give props to super solid M3 bumpers doing their bumper magic with minimal damage.

Fitted led reversing bulbs which make a big difference, swapped the gear stick for the M5 one which is shorter and heavier, feels nicer.

A break in the rainy weather so I gave it a vacuum job and a run through the touchless car wash.

And a 3Ddesign fob case in white from iND. I had the black but wanted to mix it up, so moved it to the spare and got the white. These are really well made (and fairly priced for 3D stuff!), a strong rec for Comfort Access owners.
